For most computers running 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Download Windows installer 119 MB- Open the downloaded .exe file.
- If SmartScreen appears, select More info, then Run anyway.
- Follow the installation prompts.
Take the newborn brain atlas offline.
Choose the installer that matches your computer. The complete 3D anatomy, MRI slicing, vascular overlays, pathways, and Academy lessons are included.
Mac with M-series chip
For Apple Silicon Macs with an M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, or newer chip.
Download for Apple silicon 133 MB- Double-click the downloaded .dmg file.
- Drag Newborn Brain 3D into Applications.
- Control-click the app, choose Open, then confirm Open.
Older Intel Mac
For Macs that show Processor: Intel in About This Mac.
Download for Intel Mac 136 MB- Double-click the downloaded .dmg file.
- Drag the application into Applications.
- Control-click the app and choose Open on first launch.
Which Mac do I have?
Choose Apple menu → About This Mac. If it lists a Chip beginning with M, choose Apple silicon. If it lists an Intel Processor, choose Intel Mac.
Why might a warning appear?
The first release is not yet code-signed, so Windows or macOS may ask you to confirm that you trust it. The installers are built automatically from the public project source on GitHub.
